The One Piece Reveals February 2027 Premiere, Seven-Episode Run
WIT Studio's THE ONE PIECE anime revealed a concept visual and a February 2027 premiere date. The first season of the anime will have seven episodes that have a total runtime of around 300 minutes, and that will cover the first 50 chapters of the manga. Netflix is streaming the series.

The remake was announced during the Jump Festa '24 event in December 2023. The adaptation will cover around half of the "East Blue Saga" arc. Last month, Netflix shared a video showing some of the concepts for the upcoming remake:
The original ONE PIECE anime by Toei Animation is currently adapting the "Elbaph" arc after a hiatus earlier this year. An upcoming adaptation of Heroines special is also planned for this summer.
One Piece is Eiichiro Oda's long-running manga, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. In addition to the anime adaptations, the franchise also has multiple movies, specials, OVAs, and a live-action adaptation, streaming on Netflix.
