Crayon Shinchan Anime Returns With New Tagalog-dubbed Episodes on iWant and Free TV
ABS-CBN is bringing the Crayon Shinchan anime to the Philippines through its partnership with Muse Communication, one of Asia’s leading anime distributors. The mischievous and lovable Shinchan is ready to bring more laughter to Filipino viewers in an all-new Tagalog-dubbed version of the beloved Japanese anime. Streaming begins on September 16 on the iWant platform, with free TV airings starting on September 26 on Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, and A2Z.

Created by Yoshito Usui, “Crayon Shinchan” follows Shinnosuke “Shinchan” Nohara, a curious kindergartener whose unusual questions and hilarious mischief often leave his parents, teachers, and neighbors bewildered. Beyond the laughs and family chaos, the series also delivers endearing moments that have made it a well-loved franchise around the world.
A new generation of viewers can now discover the outrageous antics of the playful five-year-old, while longtime fans can look forward to reliving the fun and fond memories of watching one of Japan’s most recognizable anime characters. Muse Philippines has released the broadcast schedule:
Crayon Shin-chan is a Japanese manga series created by Yoshito Usui. It began serialization in Futabasha’s Weekly Manga Action in 1990, with the television anime adaptation premiering in Japan in 1992. The series follows five-year-old Shinnosuke “Shin-chan” Nohara and his everyday adventures with his family and friends.
In the Philippines, Crayon Shin-chan first aired in the early 2000s with a Tagalog dub, including a version broadcast on IBC-13 and RPN-9 featuring Filipino rapper and comedian Andrew E. as the voice of Shin-chan. The series has since become familiar to Filipino audiences. The franchise is set to return to Philippine cinemas in November 2026 with Crayon Shinchan the Movie: Spooky! My Yokai Vacation, an animated feature that follows Shin-chan and his family on a mysterious adventure involving the world of Japanese yokai.
