The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II Launches PlayStation Demo

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II launched two demos for PS 4 and PS 5 earlier this week ahead of its release in the West. In the Story Demo, players can experience the opening of the game while the Battle Demo is focused on the exploration of the Märchen Garten and fighting a boss. Players will be able to transfer their save data to the full version when it is released on February 14, 2025.

The newest installment of the Trails series will be available in English on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC and will cover the continuation of the "Calvard" arc. Nihon Falcom developed and published the game in 2022 in Japan. NIS America is handling the overseas release.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II synopsis:

No longer threatened by the mafia organization Almata, the people of Calvard have returned to their peaceful lives. But one day, a shocking series of murders involving a mysterious crimson beast sets the wheels of fate in motion once again. Various factions spring into action – both those who abide by the law to uncover the truth and those looking to capitalize on any new developments wherever possible, no matter how sinister.
With chaos once again looming on the horizon, the spriggan Van Arkride receives an unexpected visitor, prompting his own investigation. Who is behind the murders, and what is their goal? The sands of time bring old and new faces together for this thrilling second installment in the Trails through Daybreak saga.

The Trails series belongs to the franchise of role-playing video games started in 1989 with Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes.
