The Apothecary Diaries Palace Chronicles Game Is Officially Live
CTW has officially launched G123's latest game, The Apothecary Diaries Palace Chronicles, on June 15, 2026. The browser game is based on the anime of the same name and is available to play on smartphones, tablets, and PCs with no downloads required. Players can enjoy casual gameplay anytime, anywhere with the convenience of browser-based gaming. The game can be found on the G123 website.
In celebration of the game's release, a special video with Maomao (voiced by Aoi Yuuki) and Jinshi (voiced by Takao Otsuka) was also released on the official G123 YouTube channel.
What to Expect from The Apothecary Diaries Palace Chronicles?
The Apothecary Diaries Palace Chronicles follows protagonist Maomao as she navigates the Imperial Court and pleasure district, solving mysterious incidents one after another. Players must use Maomao's apothecary knowledge and carefully prepared medicines to crack cases while advancing through each stage in this engaging simulation game.
The game also features an original "Medical Office" system where you can use in-game items to upgrade and develop your facilities. Strategic planning around item collection and facility enhancement lets you create your own unique management style for deep, rewarding progression.
Players can also team up with beloved male characters from the anime, including Jinshi and Gaoshun, to collect herbs. The game lets you cultivate the herbs you gather into superior materials, then cooperate with other players to create concoctions in exchange for exciting rewards. Meanwhile, the female characters, including Xiaolan and Yinghua, appear as allies who help liven up the Medical Office. The player can gift items, develop Maomao's skills, and enhance the Medical Office with the help of these allies.
Lastly, players who joined the pre-registration period will be awarded a free Xiaolan (UR) as an ally, plus other amazing items as rewards.
The Apothecary Diaries is a popular anime and manga series that follows the story of a young apothecary named Maomao. All she wants to do is be near medicine and poisons; however, times change when she gets kidnapped and sold into service in the inner palace.
The series started with a light novel written by Natsu Hyuga and illustrated by Touko Shina. With more than 45 million copies sold worldwide, The Apothecary Diaries stands as one of the most successful and beloved series to date. It has received manga adaptations by Nekokurage and another by Minoji Kurata. An anime adaptation by OLM and TOHO Animation Studio premiered in 2023, followed by another season in 2025.
The anime marked its second anniversary on October 22, 2025, alongside the exciting announcement of both a third TV anime season and the franchise’s first-ever movie release. The sequel season is scheduled to air in a 2-part season beginning in October 2026, with the movie set to premiere in December 2026.
