The Apothecary Diaries Palace Chronicles Mobile Game to Officially Release on June 15
The Apothecary Diaries Palace Chronicles has announced that the online simulation game based on the beloved anime series The Apothecary Diaries will officially release on June 15, 2026.
Players of the game can step into the role of Maomao, navigating various incidents that unfold in the Imperial Court and the pleasure district while experiencing the captivating everyday world of The Apothecary Diaries. The game is described to showcase Maomao as she races through intricately recreated streets, solving mysteries and crafting remedies. It features original illustrations and cameos of over 35 characters, including fan favorites such as Jinshi, Gaoshun, Lady Gyokuyou, Xiaolan, and Shisui. See the teaser video below:
The Apothecary Diaries Palace Chronicles is a browser-based game accessible on smartphones, tablets, and PCs with no app download required. Players can seamlessly switch between devices, enjoying the game on PC at home or on their smartphone while on the move. It features an auto-play feature that is perfect for enjoying even during short breaks.
In addition, the pre-registration campaign has now exceeded 200,000 entries and will be gifting exclusive limited-time in-game items to the players at launch. Pre-registration is still open.
The Apothecary Diaries is a popular anime and manga series that follows the story of a young apothecary named Maomao. All she wants to do is be near medicine and poisons; however, times change when she gets kidnapped and sold into service in the inner palace.
The series started with a light novel written by Natsu Hyuga and illustrated by Touko Shina. It has received manga adaptations by Nekokurage and another by Minoji Kurata. The series has been adapted into an anime by OLM and TOHO animation STUDIO, and has two seasons.
The anime marked its second anniversary on October 22, 2025, alongside the exciting announcement of both a third TV anime season and the franchise’s first-ever movie release. The sequel season is scheduled to air in a 2-part season beginning in October 2026, with the movie set to premiere in December 2026.
