Studio Ghibli's Donguri Republic Store to Open in the US for a Limited Time

Studio Ghibli's official store, Donguri Republic, is heading to the United States, more precisely to Los Angeles. For the first time ever in the United States, Donguri Republic, the official Studio Ghibli shop, will be opening and selling merchandise from all your favorite films. The store will run for a limited time at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance.

Starting from June 23 until December 31, 2026, fans will be able to immerse themselves in the worlds of My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, and more, with over 400 officially licensed products inspired by the beloved Studio Ghibli films available to shop.

Store opening times:

Monday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Donguri Republic will recreate the warmth and wonder of Studio Ghibli's storytelling through a beautifully designed retail experience featuring wood-inspired interiors, whimsical displays, and a giant Totoro waiting at a bus stop for the Cat bus.

For six months only, fans can shop exclusive merchandise inspired by Studio Ghibli's most celebrated films, including:

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
Castle in the Sky
My Neighbor Totoro
Kiki’s Delivery Service
Porco Rosso
Whisper of the Heart
Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away
The Cat Returns
Howl’s Moving Castle
Ponyo
The Boy and the Heron
And more fan-favorite Studio Ghibli classics

The pop-up will feature more than 400 officially licensed items from across the Studio Ghibli universe.

Some examples of products that will be available for purchase

To celebrate the opening, fans who spend $100 or more in the store will be able to receive a limited-edition Donguri Republic Los Angeles tote bag.

Fans who attend screenings during STUDIO GHIBLI FEST 2026 and spend at least $10 in-store can receive one of six collectible bookmark designs inspired by Studio Ghibli films.
