SHAFT and Sunrise Tease Joint Anime Project

Studios SHAFT and Sunrise are teasing their first joint anime project with a countdown featuring snippets of color scripts. The title of the series will be announced on June 23, 2026, at 24:30 JST. A teaser video was posted on the official Twitter/X account, which is currently using the @sunrise_shaft username:

Judging from the teasers, the project appears to be an adaptation of the Fool Night manga by Kasumi Yasuda. For example, the image below matches the opening panel of Chapter 14:

The Fool Night manga has been serialized in Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior since November 2022. 12 volumes have been released so far. VIZ Media is publishing the series in English and describes the plot:
