Record of Ragnarok Gets Season 4
The Record of Ragnarok anime is getting Season 4, as announced earlier today. The long-running anime announced a sequel with a new promotional video, updated logo reveal, and an illustration.

The 15-episode-long third season was released in December 2025. It was animated by Yumeta Company and MARU animation

Record of Ragnarok is based on a manga written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, and illustrated by Azychika. The manga has been serialized since 2017 in Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon magazine. Viz Media is publishing the manga in English and describes the plot as:
The valkyrie Brunhilde has convinced the gods to give humanity a chance at redemption through combat in the Valhalla arena. Seeking a quick end to the proceedings, the gods present their first fighter, Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Facing him is a warrior said to be the strongest in the history of mankind, the legendary general Lü Bu!
A side story, The Legend of Lü Bu, with art by Takeo Ono, was serialized from 2019 to 2022.
