Let Me Fix You Anime Unveils Main Cast, Mid-June Premiere Date

The Let Me Fix You anime is now scheduled to premiere mid-June 2026, following a delay caused by the dissolution of the Buta Production animation studio. In addition to the premiere date, the anime also announced main cast members:

  • Chelly (former EGOIST vocalist) as Tsumugi
  • Tia (former supercell-associated singer) as Chise

The Buta Production studio was dissolved after grooming allegations were made against its founder, Federico Antonio Russo (FAR). The individual who shared a 33-page document detailing a relationship that started when they were 14 and Russo was 23, has since retracted their statement, following Anime News Network's report in which Russo stated that a legal team was investigating on grounds of "defamation." Animators previously associated with the studio have gathered under a collective named Ponbleu. The short anime staff includes:

  • Director & Character Design: Ani
  • Art Director: Kam' kamon
  • Director of Photography: Xaryen
  • Animation Checker & Color Design: badbrix
  • Planning: Dokico

The Pixiv-published Let Me Fix You (Kimi wo Tsumugu) series by Sakura Kurihara has four chapters, published in 2021, and compiled into one volume. BluPetal licensed it in English and describes the plot as:

The story follows Tsumugi, a quiet, skilled seamstress who finds herself in the company of Chise—a girl who is not quite alive, yet not quite gone. As Tsumugi mends Chise’s physical form with careful stitches, a delicate bond forms between the living and the undead. It is a story about the labor of love, the beauty of the "broken," and the lengths we go to for the people who make us feel whole.
