Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5 Brings Summer Beach Fun to the Trailblaze This August 26

Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5, "To Roll the Stars in Astropolis," is launching on August 26, 2026, and is progressing the Trailblazer's journey with some familiar and new encounters, ultimately facing their next fight to bring peace to Planarcadia.

After the intense battle against Lord Ravager Asat Pramad, the Astral Express will face a new enemy, the Voracity. However, they must find the strength they need for the mission's success, which is a slight detour to the headquarters of the Interastral Peace Entertainment, also known as Astropolis. This new patch will progress into the next chapter of Planarcadia, the beach episode! Navigating a path towards victory against a new enemy, the Verocity, the Astral Express team lands themselves in the IPC's crown jewel section of their space empire, Astropolis.

Penacony's idol Robin returns to the story with a new 5-star form with the element of Wind. She takes on the new route on the Path of Remembrance with the new mission as the appointed head of the Oak family and to finally reveal the truth behind Gopher Woods "legacy".

Robin Summeretto performs alongside her bird band, bringing buffs to her team while her teammates increase her "Vibes" to help enhance her combat power until she reaches the level to cause a Fever Pitch. This Fever Pitch activates after Robin uses her skill alongside a maximum "Vibes" buildup, making allies benefit for when they are attacked and giving them buffs to help hit back even harder.

Her ultimate allows the player to select a teammate to immediately take action and regenerate energy, while building up her own "Vibes."

Honkai: Star Rail has also announced that alongside the release of Robin Summeretto, a new song titled"Only by Chasing the Wind" will be released.

Another fan favourite returns in this patch; Aventurine as a 5-star quantum variant, Aventurine "Waveflair." He will be making his debut in the second half of the warp-period, taking on the Path of Elation.

Using his enthusiasm for sports, this version of Aventurine uses both beach volleyball and surfing to attack surrounding enemies. These attacks will help build up both Punchline and Fervor, specifically when Fervor reaches the target points it will set off an Elation skill that will attack all enemies as well as dealing multiple instances of single target damage. Trailblazers will have to work to build up their actions, as the more actions are made, the higher the damage output from Aventurine Waveflair's Elation skill. This latter half of the warp banner will begin on September 12th.

Alongside these two warp banners, both Robin "Summeretto" and Aventurine "Waveflair" will have their featured light cones boosted in their respective halves of the patch. The other 5-star limited character in the rerun banners is Hyacine in the first half, followed by Ashveil in the second half. A new 4-star light cone, "A Little Gateway," will be introduced in the earlier part of this version.

Racing into this version is the new event "Overdrive: Whirlwind Grand Prix", where trailblazers can partner up with a crew to guide them as their team principal. There will also be the addition of "Minuscule Great Adventure", allowing players to take a relaxed approach to some stage challenges to take a break from the high action of Planarcadia. The shop will feature a new piece of Trailblaze fashion: an electronic emoti standee headwear named "Aw, Look Up Here" will be available to purchase once the patch releases.

Rounding up this update, Hoyoverse has announced a new collaboration with the brand MOONDROP, featuring items with everyone's favourite streamer trickster Sparxie. Honkai: Star Rail revealed the design for the wireless headphones alongside an acrylic stand and acrylic pendant.

Honkai: Star Rail has also been teasing an upcoming collaboration with fellow Hoyoverse game Zenless Zone Zero. Hinting at some fan-favourite characters joining the express crew on their trailblazing adventures across the galaxy, fans are asked to stay tuned for future updates.
