Archons Come Together in Genshin Impact Version 7.2 "Hour of Ruin"

Version 7.2 of Genshin Impact will be launching on November 4.
The new version's promotional materials show Noy, first introduced in Snezhnaya's teaser trailer. Additionally, a mysterious voice credited as Esoptron can be heard in the 7.2 version trailer and is voiced by Paimon's voice actor in all four languages.

In this version, the eastern regions of Snezhnaya will be open to the Travelers for exploration; the region includes the city of Novokitezhgrad, Snezhnaya's main producer of Kresnik Kristall, and a grand city built entirely underground. To its east stands the former imperial capital Old Kitezhgrad, the city built by Belyi Tsar and home to the Pale Star court before it was moved to Snezhnograd. These cities will serve as the frontline for the players to help Snezhnaya confront the Holy Soil phenomenon unleashed by Ronova while allowing them to unearth more secrets from the nation's past.

The new area will bring new Shadow Realm combat stages, and it will introduce two new elemental shotguns for the Travelers to utilize, as well as two new Prime Ice Constructs to be used to combat the hazards of contaminated Kresnik Kristall in the region.
New Characters
Mitya will join the Travelers as a playable 5-star Electro catalyst character. The laid-back scientist converts the team's Superconduct reactions into Stellar-Conduct, boosting the entire party's Stellar-Conduct DMG while accumulating special energy. He can spend the stored energy by activating his Elemental Skill, which will allow him to deal Stellar-Conduct damage periodically, allowing him to function as an off-field support. Alternatively, he can switch to the on-field role and spend the stored-up resources by using enhanced Charged Attacks, unleashing a rapid flurry of Stellar-Conduct DMG.

Alongside Mitya comes his personal babysitter Valeriy, a 4-star Electro Sword user and Major of the Armory Palace. He fills a supportive role for Stellar-Conduct teams as he can provide a shield using his Elemental Skill as well as boost the Electro damage of Stellar-Conduct hits.

In the first phase of Event Wishes, Mitya and Valeriy make their debut alongside Furina's rerun banner. The second phase sees the return of Zibai and Linnea, accompanied by a new Chronicled Wish featuring Natlan characters.

Events and Rewards
Version 7.2 introduces a new limited-time event by progressing through the new Archon Quest. The event reunites players with allies in all seven nations they visited throughout their journey in a coordinated stand against the Holy Soil phenomenon. Players will provide support for their allies by helping rescue wounded soldiers, relay critical intel, and carry out urgent assignments to contain the crisis.
Completing event objectives grants the usual rewards of Primogems, enhancement materials, and the chance to invite a 4-star character of their choice to their party that includes. In addition, players can look forward to a return of the filming event this time set in Snezhnaya, and a revisit to Natlan for a new mining challenge. And finally, the Leyline Overflow event returns once again for travelers running low on their Mora and EXP book supply.
