Solo Leveling Anime Announces Beyond the System Sequel Film
The Solo Leveling: Beyond the System a theatrical film is currently in production, as announced by Crunchyroll earlier today. A-1 Pictures is returning to animate.
The film will serve as a Season 2 sequel.
The film is produced by Aniplex, Netmarble, D&C MEDIA, Kakao piccoma, and Crunchyroll. A promotional video featuring scenes from the first two seasons of the TV anime was released:
A-1 Pictures animated the first two seasons of the TV anime, which premiered in Winter 2024 and Winter 2025, respectively. A movie version of the second season's first episodes was released in November 2024 under the Solo Leveling: Reawakening title.
The Solo Leveling series started with a web novel written by Chugong in 2016. Webnovel licensed it in English as Only I Level Up. The series has a popular webtoon adaptation with art by Jang-Sung-Rak (aka DUBU) and REDICE Studio. H-goon is credited with adaptation assistance. A sequel and spin-off, titled Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, debuted in 2024. Daul writes the sequel, while JIN (REDICE Studio) provides the art.
Crunchyroll is streaming the series and describes the plot:
