Smoking Behind Supermarket With You Drops Episodes 1-6
The first six episodes of the Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You anime are now available on Crunchyroll as 12 mini episodes. The anime is officially scheduled to premiere in July, with ABEMA and now Crunchyroll doing the early release.
As previously announced, Takuya Sato and Seena Hoshiki are voicing Sasaki and Yamada. Asahi Production is animating. The staff includes:

The anime adapts the Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You manga by Jinushi. The series initially started as a webcomic on Twitter/X and was later picked up by Square Enix and serialized in Monthly Big Gangan magazine. Since 2022, six volumes have been released. Square Enix Manga & Books is publishing the Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You (Super no Ura de Yani Su Futari) series in English and describes the plot:
At age forty-five, office worker Sasaki has had enough of the corporate grind. His only solace is smoking-and the friendly smile of supermarket cashier Yamada. When Sasaki can't find Yamada after a particularly trying day, a striking woman invites him to smoke with her. The despondent man thinks he's made a new smoking buddy in the cool, teasing Tayama, but Sasaki doesn't realize he already knows her!
