Pokémon Reveals New Winds and Waves Game Trailer and 10th Gen Starters

Pokémon Presents has revealed an exciting trailer for its upcoming games, Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves, which will be available for the Nintendo Switch 2 console in 2027. The announcement was made during the 30th anniversary celebration on February 27, 2026, which also revealed three new Pokémon starters for the 10th generation.

Developed by GAME FREAK. Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves will feature an open world to explore, with beautiful windswept islands and a vast ocean with glittering waves. During this adventure, players can team up with all kinds of Pokémon to overcome both the difficult road ahead and even the forces of nature that block their path at times.

Before setting out, players must pick one of three partner Pokémon. There's Grass type Browt, the lively but clumsy Bean Chick Pokémon, Fire type Pombon, the guileless and friendly Puppy Pokémon, and Water type Gecqua, the intelligent Water Gecko Pokémon.
