Norihiro Naganuma Announces Jurassic Shadows Original Anime
Director Norihiro Naganuma announced a new original anime project, Jurassic Shadows, during Anime Expo '26. The project combines dinosaurs and ninja. A concept promotional video and visual have been revealed.
In addition to Naganuma, who is directing, the Jurassic Shadows anime staff includes mangaka Yoichi Amano as an original character designer, Kenta Ihara (The Saga of Tanya the Evil) on the screenplay, and Yukiko Nakatani (The Apothecary Diaries) as the anime's character designer. SANB is credited with the original work, and studio Cannon Code is animating. The credits also include:

The official synopsis for the Jurassic Shadows anime is as follows:
The story is set in Tokyo in 2029. Dinosaurs, long believed to have been wiped out by the asteroid impact, have secretly survived by passing their DNA into humanity through interbreeding. Hidden among ordinary people, they now prey upon humans while living unnoticed within society. Standing against them is a covert order of ninjas who wield Ryugesho, a special pigment infused with ancient memories. By applying this mysterious pigment, they awaken the powers of dinosaurs within themselves and fight back against the predators threatening humanity. As the dinosaurs launch their campaign to wipe out humankind, the ninjas rise to stop them. The battle for the survival of two species begins.
Kodansha will be serializing a manga adaptation of the work.
