My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Reveals Main Trailer, Key Visual
My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 revealed the main trailer and a key visual ahead of the July 5 premiere date. Ayumu Murase and Shohei Komatsu are joining the cast as Amane Himeno and Shiki Kashiwagi, respectively. Studio CloverWorks is once again animating.
The theme songs for the second season of My Dress-Up Darling are the previously announced "Ao to Kirameki" by Spira Spica as the opening, and "Kawaii Kaiwai" by PiKi as the ending. Both are featured in the trailer: the ending in the first half and the opening in the second.

Hina Suguta and Shoya Ishige are returning to voice Marin and Gojo. CloverWorks is animating the second season of the popular series with Keisuke Shinohara as the director once again. Yoriko Tomita is in charge of the series composition and scripts. Kazumasa Ishida is the character designer and the chief animation director.
The popular manga series by Shinichi Fukuda began publication in 2018 and ended earlier this year. It was adapted into a 12-episode anime by studio CloverWorks in 2022. A live-action TV drama adaptation aired on MBS from October to December 2024.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot:
Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi--a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he's gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids--especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa--seem like they live in a completely different world.
That all changes one day, when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.
