Made in Abyss: Mezameru Shinpi Movie Unveils Second Trailer
The upcoming Made in Abyss: Awakening Mystery (Mezameru Shinpi) movie revealed a new teaser trailer. The movie is slated to premiere on October 23 in Japan and is the first in a planned movie series.

Kinema Citrus is returning to animate with Masayuki Kojima as the director. Hideyuki Kurata is doing the series composition. Kazuchika Kise and Yuka Kuroda are the character designers. The second season of the anime ended in January 2023 with a sequel announcement. At the time, the format was not specified. The returning main cast includes:
- Miyu Tomita as Riko
- Mariya Ise as Reg
- Shiori Izawa as Nanachi
- Misaki Kuno as Faputa
The anime adapts the manga by Akihito Tsukushi.
