The upcoming Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia anime revealed a key visual, trailer, and additional cast details. The anime is slated to premiere on July 4 with two episodes. The opening theme song will be "Stella" by Sekari no Owari.

Author Tomato Soup commented on the opening song:
When I first heard the completed song, I felt that it was written with deep empathy for the story’s protagonists.
Thrown suddenly into an unfamiliar world, they repeatedly question who they are meant to be. It is like reading the stars while searching for their own coordinates in the vastness—an endless and overwhelming struggle.
This song transforms that struggle into strength, and I believe it will surely become a source of hope for someone else as well.

The first two episodes of the Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia anime will be screened on July 3 at Anime Expo's JW Diamond venue, starting at 2:45 pm PST. Attending the screening are chief director Naoko Yamada, director Abel Gongora, producer Rie Misumi (Science SARU), and producer Kazuki Endo (TV Asahi).

The time: the thirteenth century. The place: Yeke Mongol Ulus, the greatest empire the world has ever known. The woman: Fatima, hailing from Persia, where medical technique and scientific knowledge have been perfected beyond all precedent. Fatima’s desire for a stage where she can put her knowledge to work has brought her to the palace of the Mongols, where she falls under the wing of Töregene, the sixth wife of Ögedei, the second Great Khan—a mighty woman with complicated feelings about the direction of the empire. These two women are the axel upon which the politics of the palace, and soon the very world, will turn…
