Honkai: Star Rail Announces Version 4.3 Details

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 4.3: The Lethe Below the Living is set to release on June 1, 2026, and will continue the Astral Express' venture into the chaos of Planarcadia. Mortenax Blade will make his official debut as a 5-star fire nihility character, along side the rerun of Yao Guang in phase one and the reruns of Cyrene and Phainon in phase 2. There will also be a new continuation in the Fate/Stay Night collaboration, after the previous releases of Saber and Archer last summer, there will be a new addition to the collaboration lineup with Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka.

After the climatic events of the previous version we reach our potential end to the story of the well-loved Stellaron Hunter, Blade. The Trailblazer and Blade are set to begin their exploration into the World in Canvas separately. Blade takes his step into the canvas on his own accord to seek the power of the Voracity to melt away the flesh of Shuhu within his body in hope to bring an end to his curse but the direction of this decision still remains blank in Elio's script. The Trailblazer will take another route towards the Inkford Hermitage in order to obtain the answers about the Graphia family, Phantasmoon Games and even the mysteries surrounding the express' navigator Himeko.

New Character: Mortenax Blade

The new version introduces Mortenax Blade, a familiar face to the trailblazers, who will be following the Path of Nihility as a 5-star fire character. During battle, this character uses his ultimate to help set up a special Bounded Field and overall enter an enhanced state to increase his output damage against enemies. Using this enhanced state, it will unlock his skill that will be able to deal even more DMG while building up for the next ultimate release. When an ally attacks an enemy on the field, they will inflict a debuff that will accumulate a special charge that once full this skill will automatically be used to regenerate extra energy.

During the first phase a rerun for general Yao Guang will take place, then following during the latter phase both Phainon and Cyrene will be receiving reruns. Throughout the version players will be able to obtain a brain new trailblaze outfit piece "Karmic Fire of the Distant Shore" for free.

Version 4.3 Events

Events will also be featured throughout the patch, including the IPC's new "Wispae Amusement Part" within the World of Canvas where the trailblazers will act has the new "Chief Planner" where they simulate visitor routs and place new amusement rides to attract the Wispae to their park. There will also be a new "Starward Mode" that is set to be added to three challenge modes: Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction and Apocalyptic Shadow where the trailblazer will need 3 teams in order to take on the different stages.

This summer, Honkai: Star Rail is gearing up for the next stage in the Holy Grail War with the addition of two new limited 5-star collaboration characters Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka. Trailblazers will also be able to claim either Archer or Gilgamesh for free within this patch.

Finally, it has been announced that Honkai: Star Rail will now be in collaboration with UGREEN for potential collaboration merchandise as well as online and in-person events across the globe.
