Fate Rewinder Unveils April 2027 Debut, Trailer
The previously announced Fate Rewinder anime adaptation revealed a trailer and an April 2027 premiere date. Crunchyroll, which revealed the update during its Anime Expo '26 Industry Panel, will be streaming the series. Studio Bones is animating with Rie Matsumoto as the director.
The main cast includes:
- Sho Komura as Chrono
- Koki Uchiyama as Shirai
- Kohei Amasaki as Akaba
- Reina Ueda as Lemon
The anime will adapt the Fate Rewinder (Unmei no Makimodo-Shi) manga series written and illustrated by Kimura Futa. The manga has been serialized in Shogakukan's Monthly Corocoro Comic magazine since 2022.
The plot follows the Space-Time Police Special Forces Unit, a special force dedicated to saving people who have died tragically across time and space. With their special powers that allow them to rewind time using a device implanted in their right eye, members of this unit attempt to save individuals before they die.
STORY Inc. is producing the Fate Rewinder anime, which joins the Bones studio lineup that includes Gachiakuta, My Hero Academia series, Fullmetal Alchemist, and more.
