Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 Unveils October 2027 Premiere in New Visual
Season 2 of the Delicious in Dungeon anime will premiere in October 2027. The premiere date was revealed alongside a teaser visual at studio TRIGGER's Anime Expo '26 panel on July 4.
The second season of DunMeshi will stream on Netflix. The sequel was announced in June 2024. Studio TRIGGER animated the adaptation, which ran for 24 episodes, with the following main staff:

- Series Composition: Kimiko Ueno
- Character Design: Naoki Takeda
- Music: Yasunori Mitsuda
Kentaro Kumagai leads the main cast as Laios, with Sayaka Sembongi as Marcille, Asuna Tomari as Chilchuck, Hiroshi Naka as Senshi, Saori Hayami as Falin, Akira Miki as Namari, Mitsuho Kombe as Izutsumi, and Shinji Kawada as Shuro.
The Delicious in Dungeon anime is based on a manga by Ryoko Kui, serialized in Enterbrain’s Harta magazine from 2014 to 2023. Yen Press licensed the series in English.
Yen Press describes the plot:
When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions…and a member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to starve on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
The Anime Expo panel also revealed that “Delicious in Dungeon ~Dungeon Exploration Radio~” will resume its streaming on the KADOKAWA Anime YouTube Channel. Hosted by Kentaro Kumagai (Laios) and Sayaka Sembongi (Marcille), the upcoming episode will cover the latest announcements.
