Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - Calamity Unveils New Trailer
The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - Calamity anime revealed a new trailer earlier this week. The anime will premiere in July 2026 and is adapting the final arc of Tite Kubo's manga.
Studio Pierrot is animating the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, which adapts the final parts of Tite Kubo's manga. The manga was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 2002 to 2016. The original anime adaptation began in 2004 and ended in 2012, after 366 episodes, many of which were filler content. The franchise also has multiple movies, games, side stories, and spin-offs, with the most popular being Burn the Witch, which was also adapted as a movie and a TV special.
The Thousand-Year Blood War anime premiered in 2022. It was followed by a sequel titled The Separation in 2023 and The Conflict (credited to Pierrot Films) in 2024. VIZ Media holds the license for the series. Hulu is streaming the anime in the US, and Disney+ is handling the worldwide release.
