Black Clover Season 2 Shows Off Main Trailer, Opening Song
Black Clover Season 2 revealed a trailer during Anime Expo '26. The anime returns in October 2026. WANIMA's "Kienai Riyuu" will be the opening theme song for the series.
Ayataka Tanemura is directing at studio Pierrot, which also handled the first season. Keiichiro Ohchi is doing the series composition. Itsuko Takeda is the character designer and Minato Seki is composing the music.
Yuki Tabata's Black Clover manga began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2015. In 2023, the manga went on hiatus before returning in Jump GIGA magazine in December of that year.
The manga received an anime adaptation by studio Pierrot, which ran for 170 episodes from 2017 to 2021. The first season was followed by a Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King original movie.

In a world where magic is everything, Asta and Yuno are both found abandoned at a church on the same day.
