Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 to Premiere in 2026
The previously announced Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 will premiere in 2026, as announced earlier with the first anniversary visual. Toshi Aoi, the original manga artist, drew the illustration:
The first season of the series debuted in the Summer 2024 anime season. It was animated by BN Pictures and Actas. Tatsuya Yoshihara directed the series and also did the series composition. Sayaka Ono was in charge of the character designs. Yuki Hayashi composed the music. Staff details for the sequel have not been confirmed.
The Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime adapts the manga of the same title, written by Fujino Omori (known for DanMachi series) and illustrated by Toshi Aoi. The manga has been serialized in the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since 2020. A prequel light novel, titled Wistoria: Wand and Sword Grimo Acta, was published in 2024. It was written by Fujino Omori and featured illustrations by Yuunagi.
