The Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 revealed a teaser visual, trailer, and an April 2026 premiere date. BN Pictures and Actas are animating with Tatsuya Yoshihara as the chief director and Hideaki Nakano as the director.

Sayaka Ono is the chief animation director and character designer. Yuki Hayashi is returning to compose the music.

The first season of the series debuted in the Summer 2024 anime season. It was animated by BN Pictures and Actas. Tatsuya Yoshihara directed the series and also did the series composition. Sayaka Ono was in charge of the character designs. Yuki Hayashi composed the music. Staff details for the sequel have not been confirmed.

The Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime adapts the manga of the same title, written by Fujino Omori (known for DanMachi series) and illustrated by Toshi Aoi. The manga has been serialized in the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since 2020. A prequel light novel, titled Wistoria: Wand and Sword Grimo Acta, was published in 2024. It was written by Fujino Omori and featured illustrations by Yuunagi.
