Watari-kun's ****** Is About to Collapse Anime Reveals Key New Trailers, July 4 Premiere
The upcoming Watari-kun's ****** Is About to Collapse anime adaptation revealed a new key visual and two new trailers ahead of the July 4 premiere date.
New cast additions were announced, so the main cast now looks like this:
- Shuichiro Umeda as Naoto Watari
- Yumika Yano as Satsuki Tachibana
- Yurie Igoma as Yukari Ishihara
- Meg Umezawa as Makina Umezawa
- Yoshiki Nakajima as Shigenobu Tokui
- Hinaki Yano as Suzushiro Wata
The first of the two trailers showcases the opening theme song, "Yurei ni Narita" by Yuika:

Staple Entertainment is animating the adaptation of Watari-kun's ****** Is About to Collapse (Watari-kun no XX ga Houkai Sunzen) manga, written by Naru Narumi and serialized from 2014 to 2023. The manga was initially published in Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine, but was transferred to Monthly Young Magazine in 2015.
The staff for the Watari-kun's ****** Is About to Collapse anime, slated to stream on Crunchyroll, includes:

Naoto Watari has had his share of struggles: his parents died two years ago, and now he and his sister live at his aunt’s house. There, his desire to protect his sister earned him notoriety as “the guy with the sister complex”—which never mattered to him, as his sister always came first. But when Satsuki, a childhood friend-turned-enemy(?), becomes his school mate, Naoto’s ordinary life is thrown into chaos… and Satsuki may just be the beginning.
The title is supposed to be read as Watari-kun's "Something" Is About to Collapse.
