Voice Actor Atsumi Tanezaki to Limit Activities Due to Health Concerns
Talent agency Haikyo announced that voice actress Atsumi Tanezaki, who is known for voicing Anya Forger in SPY x FAMILY, Frieren in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and Chise Hatori in The Ancient Magus' Bride, will temporarily be limiting her activities due to her health condition.
The agency explained that Atsumi Tanezaki has been under the care of her physician since last year, but due to her current health issues, they have decided to focus on prioritizing her recovery. The agency apologized for the worry and inconvenience, and assured that they will make every effort for her speedy recovery.
Tanezaki also shared an update on her X (formerly Twitter) account, which Oricon News translates:
“As my agency announced, I’ll be focusing on recovering my health while limiting some of my activities for a while. I also plan to pause my X posts for the time being… though I may post something unexpectedly—sorry if that happens. My work itself hasn’t changed, so some people might wonder if I’m really taking it easy (thank you for your concern—please don’t worry too much).
To continue cherishing the roles and works I’ve been fortunate to encounter, and to keep doing this job, however clumsily, I need to be in good health. So I will be taking proper care of myself! Osu!! As summer begins to show its true intensity, I hope everyone stays well and takes care, too.”
