Ufotable Teases Genshin Impact Anime With New Illustration
Ufotable revealed a new illustration for the Genshin Impact anime, featuring the twin travelers Lumine and Aether. The project still doesn't have a release date, but is listed under the studio's upcoming works in the new promotional reel:
The Genshin Impact anime project was initially announced in 2022 by developer HoYoverse and ufotable. Since then, it hasn't revealed any updates.
The game is currently on its Luna version, which took players on a detour to Nod-Krai, as the previous plan was to release Version 7.0 in 2025 and introduce Schneznaya and the Cryo Archon, the Tsaritsa. Version Luna focused on tying up some loose ends and introducing more lore-heavy elements while explaining some of the origins of Teyvat and introducing new characters and gameplay mechanics.
The ufotable's promotion reel also features new information about other ufotable's projects, such as the Witch on the Holy Night movie, Demon Slayer movie (the second part teased as upcoming), Tales (30th anniversary), and Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu (also upcoming).
