The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Sequel Reveals Fall 2026 Debut
The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup sequel, Kessho Member Ketteisen, is a TV anime, slated to premiere in Fall 2026. A teaser video and visual were revealed earlier today.
The information was revealed following a Jump Festa 2026 stage dedicated to the series. Junko Minagawa (Ryoma Echizen), Junichi Suwabe (Keigo Atobe), Mamoru Miyano (Ryoga Echizen in Shin Prince of Tennis OVA), and Daisuke Ono (Kazuya Tokugawa) discussed the upcoming season of The Prince of Tennis II and performed the "Love Festival."
The New Prince of Tennis is a sequel to The Prince of Tennis, a Japanese manga series written by Takeshi Konomi. The original manga began serialization in 1999 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. It ended in March 2008 and has a total of 42 volumes. It was adapted into a TV anime adaptation by Production I.G and Trans Arts and has multiple sequels, OVAs, and side stories.
The Prince of Tennis II (also known as The New Prince of Tennis) has been serialized in Jump Square magazine since 2009. It got its first anime adaptation in 2012. The sequel, titled The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup, aired in 2022 and was followed by The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal in 2024.
