The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen Season 2 revealed a new teaser visual and a teaser trailer. The anime premieres in April 2026. OLM Team Yoshioka is animating.

The anime adapts The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior light novel series, written by Tenichi and illustrated by Suzunosuke. A manga adaptation by Bunko Matsuura was serialized from 202o to 2022 and compiled into three volumes.
The second season was announced in June. The first season aired in the Summer 2023 anime season and was also animated by OLM. HIDIVE is streaming it.
Seven Seas Entertainment published the manga in English and described the plot as:
