The Dangers in My Heart Season 3 Announced for 2027
The Dangers in My Heart anime is getting Season 3, slated to premiere in 2027. The anime is currently in production, and the character designer Masato Katsumata shared a special illustration featuring the main duo:
The Dangers in My Heart (also known as Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu or BokuYaba) is based on a manga by Norio Sakurai, currently serialized on Akita Shoten's Champion Cross web platform. Sakurai shared a comment with fans regarding the sequel:
Everyone! Production for Season 3 of "The Dangers in My Heart" has been confirmed! This is thanks to your warm support and the hard work of each and every cast and staff member. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I honestly never thought we'd get a Season 3, so wrapping things up nicely in Volume 8 of the manga is a fond memory. I'm looking forward to seeing how the world of these two will continue to be beautifully colored.
Studio Shin-Ei Animation animated the TV adaptation, which debuted in 2023. The second season aired in 2024. Combined, the two seasons have 25 episodes. The TV anime was followed by a compilation movie, which also included some new content. The movie debuted in Japan and was also released in the United States, Latin America, France, Germany, Italy, and parts of Asia. The staff for the movie included:

HIDIVE is streaming the anime. The synopsis for the story is as follows:
Kyotaro Ichikawa is a painfully awkward middle school boy deep in the throes of eighth-grader syndrome, spending his days obsessed reading morbid books like The Encyclopedia of Murder and anatomical diagrams.
His quiet, isolated world is suddenly turned upside down when Anna Yamada, the classroom star, unexpectedly steps into his life.
Whether she’s casually eating rice balls in the library, humming to herself, or suddenly closing the distance between them, Yamada’s unpredictable behavior leaves Ichikawa constantly off balance. And before he knows it, she is occupying his every day thoughts.
As they spend more time together, Yamada too begins to find herself drawn to Ichikawa in ways she never expected. It’s the first time either of them has truly understood what it means to “like” someone.
Through misunderstandings and clumsy, heartfelt emotions, the distance between them slowly, but surely, begins to close.
