The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Reveals Season 2 Trailer
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten anime has revealed a teaser trailer for the second season, along with a premiere date of April 2026.
A teaser visual was revealed earlier this year, with an updated version released on March 21:
Project No. 9 animated the first season of the anime, with Wang Lihua as the director. Keichiro Ochi was in charge of the series composition. Moe Hyuga composed the music. In addition to Iwami, the cast included:
- Taito Ban as Amane Fujimiya
- Taku Yahiro as Itsuki Akazawa
- Haruka Shiraishi as Chitose Shirakawa
The anime is based on Saekisan’s The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten light novel series, originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2018. The series got a light novel version with illustrations by Hanekoto under GA Bunko (SB Creative’s imprint) in 2019.
In English, Yen Press licenses the light novels, while Square Enix publishes the manga adaptation by Wan Shibata. Yen Press describes the series as follows:
Mahiru is a beautiful girl whose classmates all call her an “angel.” Not only is she a star athlete with perfect grades-she’s also drop-dead gorgeous. Amane‚ an average guy and self-admitted slob‚ has never thought much of the divine beauty‚ despite attending the same school. Everything changes‚ however‚ when he happens to see Mahiru sitting alone in a park during a rainstorm. Thus begins the strange relationship between this incredibly unlikely pair!
