Tenkosaki Anime Reveals Trailer, July Premiere
The Tenkosaki no Seiso Karen na Bishoujo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osananajimi datta Ken (The Neat and Pretty Girl at My New School Is a Childhood Friend of Mine Who I Thought Was a Boy) TV anime revealed a trailer and a July 2026 premiere date.
Chuanfeng Xu is directing the anime with Deko Akao on the series composition. N Nei Kurahashi is in charge of the character designs, Ryosuke Nakanishi, Naoki Tani, and Yuri Morita are composing the music.
The cast includes:
- Ikumi Hasegawa as Haruki Nikaido
- Shunichi Toki as Hayato Kirishima
- Miharu Hanai as Himeko Kirishima
- Natsumi Haruse as Minamo Mitake
The light novel has been serialized under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint since 2021. It features illustrations by Shiso, who also drew an illustration to commemorate the anime announcement.
The series also has a manga adaptation by Kina Oyama, serialized in the Dra-Dra Flat♭ magazine. The Tenkousaki no Seiso Karen na Bishoujo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osananajimi datta Ken hasn't been licensed in English.
