The previously announced World Trigger REBOOT project was revealed to be a complete reboot of the series from the first season. Toei Animation will continue to animate the project. More information will be revealed at the upcoming Jump Festa '26.

World Trigger anime announced a "reboot project" with a teaser visual. More details will be announced on December 20 at the Jump Festa 2026 Super Stage event. It's unclear if this project is a sequel or a completely new series.
