Sasaki and Peeps Season 2 Unveils 2026 Premiere With New Visual
Season 2 of the Sasaki and Peeps anime revealed a new visual and a 2026 release date at today's MF Bunko J's Autumn School Festival 2025.
The first season of Sasaki and Peeps was animated by studio SILVER LINK, and it aired throughout Winter 2024. The staff included:

- Chief Animation Director: Saori Nakashiki, Miwa Ooshima, Yuuki Sawairi, Kazuyuki Yamayoshi
- Music: Nippon Columbia
Tomokazu Sugita and Aoi Yuki are leading the cast as Sasaki and Peeps, respectively.
The anime adapts the series written by Buncololi. Initially self-published work, Sasaki and Peeps was picked up by Kadokawa and published as a light novel (Media Factory's MF Bunko J imprint) and manga (Shonen Ace Plus magazine). Kantoku is illustrating the light novel, while Pureji Osho does the art for the manga. Yen Press licensed the light novel in English.
Crunchyroll licensed the anime and describes the plot:
Sasaki is a middle-aged office worker living in Japan. Feeling drained by the vapid corporate world, he heads to the pet shop in search of a new companion. There he finds an adorable bird named Peeps and takes him home. But Sasaki quickly learns that Peeps isn’t your average bird…he’s a powerful mage from another world! Together, they embark on a magical adventure filled with swords and sorcery.
