Sanrio’s Hanamaruobake Begins Collaboration With Popular Japanese Fashion Brand, Maison de FLEUR
Sanrio's very own little ghost Hanamaruobake started a collaboration with Japanese fashion brand Maison de FLEUR in celebration of the character;s birthday, August 7. Pre-orders for the products is currently live on the official "STRIPE-CLUB" and ZOZOTOWN websites until the August 31. Delivery for these online pre-orders is estimated to be mid to late December and no information has been released if this collaboration will make its way into stores in Japan. So if you want grab some merch of Sanrio's very own friendly ghost then get in quick!

Hanamaruobake is described as a shy ghost character. He debuted in 2023 and has gained a huge fan following over the past two years. This will be the second collaboration with Maison de FLEUR with the previous one happening last year. This friendly little ghost has also been a rising star in the Sanrio's Character Ranking, sitting at a solid 12th place this year after a 14th place finish in 2024.

The collection will include 5 products: coin pouches, bags and a keychain, each item features Hanamaruobake's colour scheme (yellow and cream) alongside some cherry-themed accessories. Starting off the Hanamaruobake 2-way frill handle tote priced at 8,000 yen ($55), a square version of the frill handle tote bag at 8,800 yen ($60), the round pouch for 4,400 yen ($30), the long pouch at 5,000 yen ($34) for and finally, the keychain at 3,700 yen ($25).
