Sanrio Announces New Limited-Edition Hair Care Products
Sanrio, in collaboration with popular Japanese hair care brands &honey and &PAIR, has released two new hair care product sets featuring Sanrio characters Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, and Kuromi with unique seasonal fragrances for all to enjoy.
&honey and &PAIR are well-known haircare brands that produce hair treatments with natural ingredients and solutions, making them not just popular in Japan but worldwide as well. The collaboration with Sanrio will feature limited edition designs on the packaging, bringing out the cuteness of the beloved characters.
The "&honey x Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll" set aims to capture a sense of freshness of "early summer" with a mimosa and daisy smell to it, and with these scents not being too overpowering, you can enjoy smelling fresh without feeling sick.
This set includes:
- &honey Melty Moist Repair Shampoo (440ml)
- &honey Melty Moist Repair Hair Treatment (445g)
- A special Hair Treatment Comb (1 piece)
&honey is also known for its moisture and repair treatment. For the Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll products, their treatment focuses on those with wavy and curly hair, with key ingredients that target hair dryness. The set comes with a comb to help the effectiveness of the treatment. The product will retail for 3,080 yen (approximately 21 USD).
In case you missed it, Pompompurin was most recently announced at the top of the Sanrio Character Ranking for 2025, while Cinnamoroll was the previous winner.
Meanwhile, the "&PAIR x My Melody and Kuromi" set features an elegant floral fragrance. It is designed to create the feeling of elegance with its lavender and peony fragrance, offering a rich floral scent. The limited edition packaging features purple and pink colors, representing the adorable characters and how, despite their opposite personalities, they can work well together.

- &PAIR Control and Repair Two-In-One Hair Treatment (450g)
- Quick Drying Brush (1 Piece)
The &PAIR line is mainly recognized for its control and repair benefits, so the My Melody and Kuromi set will include a brush designed for quick drying. It is described to smooth the hair nicely without ripping any hair, decreasing the pain and nightmares that some people experience while brushing freshly washed and tangled hair. The set will be retailed at 3,190 yen (approximately 22 USD).
The &honey and &PAIR and Sanrio collaboration offers fans an experience like no other, being able to combine their daily hair treatment with the adorable Sanrio characters, and overall making what usually feels like a chore a bit more cute and exciting.
The two &honey and &pair and Sanrio sets were launched on June 25, 2025, and are available at drugstores and variety shops in Japan as limited-edition products.
