Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Comes to HIDIVE in 2026

Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 will be streaming on HIDIVE in 2026. A teaser visual and logo were revealed at the NBC Universal panel at Anime Expo. Studio C2C is returning to animate the sequel, with Shinji Ishihira as the director.

Takahiro Nagano is handling the series composition, and Atsuki Saito is the character designer.

Reincarnated as a Sword, also known as Tenken, is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuu Tanaka. LLO provided illustrations for the novel that started as a web novel on the user-generated Shosetsuka ni Naro website in October of 2015. GC Novels started publishing it as a light novel in 2016. A manga adaptation by Tomowo Maruyama has also been ongoing since 2016. A spin-off manga titled Reincarnated as a Sword: Another Wish started publishing on the Comic Ride website in June 2020. Hinako Inoue authored the spin-off. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel, the manga, and the spin-off manga.
