Re:ZERO Season 4 Reveals New Key Visual, Ending Theme Song Artists

The upcoming Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World Season 4 revealed a second key visual earlier today. The anime returns on April 8. The broadcasting schedule for the new season, which will run for 19 episodes, is as follows:

  • The Loss Arc (11 episodes): Broadcasting begins on April 8
  • The Recapture Arc (8 episodes): Broadcasting begins August 12

The ending theme song, “Ender Ember,” will be performed by MYTH & ROID and TK (Ling tosite sigure). Although the artists are known names to anime fans, this will be the first time they collaborate. The previous trailer revealed that Konomi Suzuki is returning to performing the opening theme song.

The Re:ZERO anime also announced a collab with Tottori Prefecture, home to Japan's largest sand dunes, as a nod to Auguria Dunes, where the fourth season takes place. A special visual has been revealed:

Re:ZERO: Starting Life in Another World is an adaptation of the light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka. The series is split into several major arcs, and currently is on the ninth arc, with 39 volumes published in Japanese. The series is licensed by Yen Press in English.

Crunchyroll streams the anime outside Japan, and describes the series as follows:

Natsuki Subaru, an ordinary high school student, is on his way home from the convenience store when he finds himself transported to another world. As he's lost and confused in a new world where he doesn't even know left from right, the only person to reach out to him was a beautiful girl with silver hair. Determined to repay her somehow for saving him from his own despair, Subaru agrees to help the girl find something she's looking for...
