This 1997 Studio Ghibli fantasy film is mainly known for its amazing animation, great storytelling, and detailed environmental themes. This story focuses on Ashitaka, a young warrior who gets attacked and cursed by an animal. While travelling to find this cure, he then encounters Lady Eboshi, who is one of the people from Iron Town, and also Princess Mononoke. The story then follows on with them being in conflict as a girl being raised by wolves, all Princess Mononoke pledges to do is to prevent humans from hunting them down and destroying their home, alongside the forest spirits and animal gods who live there.
Princess Mononoke screened in the US in 4K earlier this year.
