One Piece Live-Action Unveils Season 2 Trailer

During the annual ONE PIECE Day celebration in Tokyo, Netflix unveiled a first look at the live-action's Season 2, featuring the Straw Hat crew's epic pirate adventures into the Grand Line. It is set to release in 2026.

The live-action series also announced that it has also been given an early Season 3 renewal. Production on Season 3 will begin in Cape Town, South Africa, this fall and will have Ian Stokes joining alongside Joe Tracz as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer.

The ONE PIECE live-action stars Iñaki Godoy (Luffy), Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji). In May 2025, the series revealed a first look at Tony Tony Chopper, voiced by Mikaela Hoover. The rest of the Season 2 cast includes:

The ONE PIECE live-action series was created in partnership with Shueisha and is produced by Tomorrow Studios and Netflix. Tracz serves as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer for Season 2 alongside Matt Owens. The plot of the live-action series is described as:

Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey  through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.
