One Piece Anime Reveals Production Schedule Changes, Maximum of 26 Episodes Per Year
The ONE PIECE anime is getting a new broadcasting schedule in 2026. Starting from April 2026, the anime will broadcast up to 26 episodes per year. The anime will go on hiatus in January and will be on break in February and March, before returning with "Elbaph Arc." The arc received a new teaser visual:

The information was revealed during an hour-long ONE PIECE news event was co-hosted by Hiroyuki Nakano, ONE PIECE Media editor in chief, together with producer Ryuta Koike.
The One Piece anime by Toei Animation adapts Eiichiro Oda's long-running manga, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. In addition to the anime adaptation, the franchise also has multiple movies, specials, OVAs, and a live-action adaptation, streaming on Netflix. WIT Studio and Netflix announced a remake of the TV anime, titled The One Piece.
