New Kaguya-sama Special Reveals Trailer, Theme Song
The previously announced Kaguya-sama: Love Is War special, Stairway to Adulthood, revealed a trailer and a December 31, 2025, premiere date. Masayuki Suzuki is returning to perform the opening theme song, titled "Abunaikioku," this time with Aoi Koga. The song is available to stream.
Studio A-1 Pictures is animating the special, and the staff includes:

This is the second special in the anime series, which began in 2019. The TV anime has three seasons: Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?, and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War - Ultra Romantic. Kaguya-sama: Love is War - The First Kiss Never Ends special that premiered in 2022, was a sequel to the third season.

As the two leaders of the student council, Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane have supposedly fallen in love… But after almost half a year, nothing has happened!?
