BEASTARS director Shinichi Matsumi also shared his thoughts on the finale:
“As fangs and horns clash, friendship, love, and pride – everything will be put to the test in this intense climax. What does it mean to live beyond the boundaries of species? Is love a source of strength, or of weakness? The finale of this work is not only their story, but also a question posed to the world we live in. Please watch until the very end.”
The first-look images were unveiled during a special talk show featuring a father-daughter dream collaboration between Keisuke Itagaki, creator of the BAKI manga series, and Paru Itagaki, creator of BEASTARS. The ongoing 10th anniversary event in Shibuya not only celebrates a decade of creativity and innovation but also highlights Netflix’s ongoing commitment to sharing Japanese stories that captivate, move, and thrill audiences around the world.
