Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 Unveils Main Trailer, April 12 Premiere

Season 2 of the Mission: Yozakura Family anime revealed a main trailer, key visual, and an April 12 premiere date. The theme songs for the second season will be "What's 'KAZOKU'?" by Sakurazaka46 as the opening and "Shalala" by Pilaf Alien as the ending. Studio SILVER LINK is animating the sequel.

Mirai Minato is the chief director for the second season of Mission: Yozakura Family, with Takahiro Nakatsugawa as the director. Minato, who directed the first season, is also doing the series composition. Mizuki Takahashi is in charge of the character designs. Koji Fujimoto is composing the music.

The first season of the anime aired in the Spring 2024 season and was animated by SILVER LINK.

Mission: Yozakura Family (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen) adapts the manga written and illustrated by Hitsuji Gondaira. The manga has been serialized since 2019 in the Weekly Shonen Jump. Currently, there are 15 volumes out. Viz Media describes the plot as:
Taiyo Asano is a super-shy high school student and the only person he can talk to is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura. However, Mutsumi comes from a line of master spies with amazing powers. Her oldest brother, Kyoichiro, is obsessed with Mutsumi and out to kill anyone who gets remotely near her—and his next target is Taiyo! The only way for Taiyo to save himself from Kyoichiro’s murderous clutches is to marry Mutsumi!
