Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story is celebrating its 8th anniversary with a new pop-up store, running from August 15 to August 31 in AKIBA Cultures ZONE, a venue known for hosting niche anime merchandise events. The game was launched in 2017 by Aniplex, and its servers went offline last July.

The pop-up will showcase new merchandise like 2026 desk calendars priced at 1,980 yen (est. $14), acrylic stands priced at 1,900 yen (est.$13 ), badges priced 572 yen (est. $4) and complete sets priced at 4,576 yen (est.$30), vertical tapestries priced at 3,850 yen (est.$25), acrylic artboards that are priced at 3,300 yen (est. $22). The pre-orders start from July 30, 2025, on the official website. The maximum number of individual items that can be purchased is limited to two boxed items per person. Those who spend more than 2,200 yen will recieve a postcard.

Badges that are available in each set.

As the name indicates, Magia Record is part of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story franchise, which started with an original anime by studio SHAFT. The same studio also adapted the Magia Record game into anime in 2020. The main Puella Magi Madoka Magica series is also getting a sequel movie next year, titled Walpurgisnacht - Rising.
Although Magia Record game servers shut down in July 2024, fans can enjoy the newly launched Magia Exedra, dubbed the 3D successor.
