Made in Abyss: Awakening Mystery Unveils Key Visual, October 23 Premiere
The Made in Abyss: Awakening Mystery (Mezameru Shinpi) movie revealed a key visual. As previously announced, the movie premieres this fall, but now we have an exact date: October 23. The move is the first in planned theatrical series.
Kinema Citrus is returning to animate with Masayuki Kojima as the director. Hideyuki Kurata is doing the series composition. Kazuchika Kise and Yuka Kuroda are the character designers. The second season of the anime ended in January 2023 with a sequel announcement. At the time, the format was not specified. The returning main cast includes:
- Miyu Tomita as Riko
- Mariya Ise as Reg
- Shiori Izawa as Nanachi
- Misaki Kuno as Faputa
The anime adapts the manga by Akihito Tsukushi.
