Luffy to Throw First Pitch at Boston Red Sox Game
One Piece fans will get to celebrate a historic moment for the One Piece franchise this weekend when Monkey D. Luffy throws the first pitch at the Boston Red Sox game. Fans of the series are invited to Boston Red Sox x ONE PIECE Theme Day on Saturday, May 3, 2025, for the Red Sox-Twins game at Fenway Park. An expected 6300 fans will be attending the event.
Limited celebration tickets sold out in record time, marking a successful partnership between the legendary studio Toei Animation and the Boston Red Sox. Fans who got tickets from redsox.com/onepiece will receive an exclusive Red Sox x ONE PIECE baseball jersey and all VIP ticketholders will receive the jersey and a baseball hat.
All ticket holders to the game are welcome to enjoy a variety of One Piece fan experiences, including a fan meet-up, photo-op with Luffy and Chopper character mascots and a card game demo.
Fans attending Boston Red Sox x ONE PIECE Theme Day are encouraged use the hashtags #ONEPIECE and #RedSox on all their social posts.
