Laid-Back Camp Season 4 Reveals 2027 Release Date in Teaser Trailer
The previously announced Season 4 of the Laid-Back Camp (Yuru Camp) anime revealed a teaser trailer and visual, alongside a 2027 premiere date. FuRyu Pictures is handling the animation production for the cozy sequel.
The trailer reveals that Asaka will be singing the opening theme song and Eri Sasaki will be in charge of the ending theme. Kiminone is singing the series theme.
The staff for the new season includes:
- Director: Shin Tosaka (Laid-Back Camp Season 3, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime)
- Series Composition: Masafumi Sugiura (Laid-Back Camp Season 3)
- Character Design: Ryuta Ura (Princess Connect! Re: Dive chief animation director)
- Music: Akiyuki Tateyama (Laid-Back Camp)
- Sound Director: Takeshi Takadera (Laid-Back Camp)
The first season of the Laid-Back Camp anime premiered in 2019. It was animated by C-Studio and co-produced and financed by Crunchyroll, which also streamed the series. C-Studio also animated the second season, released in 2021, and a movie that came out in the following year. Studio 8bit took over for the third season, released in the Spring 2024 anime season. The cast includes:
- Yumiri Hanamori as Nadeshiko Kagamihara
- Nao Toyama as Rin Shima
- Aki Toyosaki as Aoi Inuyama
- Sayuri Hara as Chiaki Ohgaki
- Rie Takahashi as Ena Saitou
- Maria Sashide as Ema Mizunami
- Kokoa Amano as Mei Nakatsugawa
Laid-Back Camp is based on Afro's manga, which started serialization in 2015. The manga currently has 18 volumes out in Japan. Yen Press is publishing it in English. The plot follows a group of high schoolers with a passion for camping and the great outdoors.
