Following its mobile release, Akatsuki Games, TOHO CO., LTD., and Production I.G., Inc. have announced that Kaiju No.8 THE GAME will launch on PC and will be released on October 1st, 2025. It is now available to view on Steam.

With its continually growing popularity since its iOS and Android launch on August 31, the game has officially hit over three million downloads, and quickly reached No. 1 on the App Store charts for role-playing, adventure, and free-to-play games.

Kaiju NO. 8 THE GAME is co-produced by Akatsuki Games Inc., TOHO CO., LTD., and Production I.G., Inc. It was released on mobile worldwide on August 31st, 2025, taking the gaming world by storm. The game supports Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and French language options for fans worldwide to be able to play.

The game is based on the popular manga series by Naoya Matsumoto, which follows the story of the Defence Force eliminating the Kaiju, who are a threat to human lives. In this game, players can learn about the characters' back stories on their goals of becoming a Defence Force officer, while also developing in-game skills and weapons to defeat all Kaiju standing in their way.
